ATTENDEES: Commissioner Scott Hunt, Commissioner Tom Chernisky, Commissioner Keith Rager Elyse Kirchner, Rebecca Valle, Tracy Selak, Tracy Shultz, Fred Oliveros, Missy Raho
- Approval of Minutes: November 12 , 2024 meeting minutes: Approved motion by Commissioner Chernisky / seconded by Commissioner Rager. No discussion.
- Review of requested financials: (See attachment) No discussion.
- BHoCC Executive Director Update- Formally Approve Tracy Selak to be named ED. With the naming of Tracy Selak, as Executive Director of BHoCC will also continue to serve as the Administrator for Cambria County Behavioral Health/Developmental Supports Program in the Capacity of Dual Employment. She will retain all compensation, benefits and entitlements from her County employment and receive salary compensation from BHoCC. Approval to award Tracy Selak Executive Director of BhoCC approved motion by Commissioner Rager / seconded by Commissioner Hunt.
- $75,000 salary first year
- $55,000 salary second year
- Retroactive to January 1, 2025
- Strategic succession plan to include mentoring Elyse Kirchner, Clinical/Quality Director in the administrative and business operations of BHoCC
- Discussion – Commissioner Chernisky summarized the year one and year two salary as well as the succession plan.
- Annual BHoCC Salary Increase: Motion to approve BhoCC salary increase Commissioner Rager / seconded by Commissioner Hunt.
- 3% increase approved for the Clinical Quality Director and Executive Assistant
- 0% increase for CFO
- Retroactive to January 1, 2025
- Reinvestment Committee Meeting: Ad hoc:
- Women’s Help Center was awarded the RFP bid of the Peer Run Shelter
- Women’s Help Center has access to various structures to utilize for the shelter
- The goal to have the shelter up and running is March 2025
- Future plans may include a warming and cooling center
- Behavioral Health of Cambria County (BHoCC) Key Initiatives for 2025:
- The upcoming MBH PIP will be focused on suicide prevention which aligns with BHoCC initiatives
- Magellan Behavioral Health (MBH) Updates:
- 2025 rates have decreased due to lower membership enrollment (approximately 32,000 in 2024 down from 37,000 in 2022)
- Starting in 2025, financials will be reviewed after the first quarter to see if a mid-year rate adjustment needs to be requested.
- Magellan responded to MCO RFP for Blair County. Will be notified of the results in February 2025
- 2025 BHoCC Trainings: All trainings will be held in person (Cambria County Academic Center). More information can be found on our FB page and/or website www.bhocc.org.
